About us
Studioillum is a research and design consultancy based in Indonesia. We are passionate in helping organizations better understand their customers, users, field teams and communities they are serving.
Our team has research and design experiences in customer experience, digital transformation, service design, and behavior change projects across Indonesia. Our past projects vary from designing and improving digital products, evaluating products and services, to piloting public services.
From our experience, we learned that good products and services are designed based on empathy on people and iterative improvements, and thus we employ Ethnographic Research and Human Centered Design approach in our projects and provide on-project training to members of our client teams.
Services
Research
We provide end-to-end research services, including participant recruitment, documentation and lead facilitation for in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and also observations and shadowing of key users and members of communities. We ensure that all involved researchers are field ready and adhere to global research ethical standards.
Concept Prototyping and Testing
We recommend to pair our research with prototyping and concept testing sessions when meeting with the customers and users, as we believe that bringing early ideas to the users will help them share their feedbacks and enable them reveal the nuances of the challenges and pain points they experience with current products and services.
Design Workshop Facilitation
We work closely with the client’s team to ensure that their ideas and initiatives can be strategically implemented by involving all the relevant stakeholders along the way. We also ensure that insights from user research and users feedback are available by transforming them into visuals and references that are richly descriptive and usable during these workshops.
